Functional Diagnostics & Balancing

All tension and stressors - both physical and mental - manifest as changes in muscle tone and pulse, which can be quickly assessed and effectively balanced.

This type of screening is also known as holistic or functional diagnostics, as it aims to chart changes in our self-regulation, energetic reserves and well-being (rather than to diagnose diseases and treat them medically)

Analyzing the functional state helps to support the restoration of the body's energy reserves and balance, which are central to achieving and maintaining good health, optimal performance and overall well-being.

We look for the primary cause of any challenge - and plan the treatment accordingly.

What?

My practice combines Western and Eastern approaches to health and wellness. In essence, this means combining modern knowledge of biology and energy medicine with traditional (Eastern) teachings on life energy — also called chi in Chinese Medicine, and prana in Yogic traditions.

This modern, systemic approach is known as Applied Kinesiology.

Why?

While modern medicine focuses mainly on diagnosing and treating diseases, the aim of kinesiology is to support our natural adaptive capacities and well-being, as individuals. This may involve supporting healthy tonus and posture, as well as improving energy levels and resistance to environmental, emotional, and psychological stressors.

In a non-intrusive way, this also facilitates the healing of many specific weaknesses or disorders - both physical and mental.

How?

I employ the methods of muscle tone and pulse diagnostics. This is because changes in tone and pulse are good indicators of your condition - both physiologically and psychologically. Combining them helps to plan optimal therapies and to evaluate their effectiveness in real time. Hence, problems can be addressed in a way that is consistent with your general constitution and specific condition at any moment (see Services).
